I DONE IT 💪

well today I went back to work for the first time in just under a year since my accident it was so emotional and brilliant I done amazingly well I can’t beleive it my biggest goal is in the process of being achieved

It was like I’d never been away

It just makes me so sad that I can’t just go back to all the things I used to do when I worked there before this accident and that hurts me so much I was so amazing at my job I learnt so so much and achieved so much I do hope that one day I will get close to the same as I was but for now I will appreciate the 2 hours a week 💪

Yes baby steps, don't try and do what you hope you can but be realistic, it will take time to improve but each day will hopefully have a small increment.

Wishing you all the best but if you have a 'difficult' day seek support here, I'm sure many here have a valuable insight.

Congratulations! Its a great feeling too, it will a year next month since I started to work again. I was off for nearly 2 years but once I started to drive again, the world was my oyster. Small steps at the beginning & eventually you can maybe start to do all the things you used to do. 🙌

Well done for fighting so hard and for so long, hopefully you will go from strength to strength and keep on improving in your work and quality of life. You should be so proud of yourself for achieving this as I am sure your family and colleagues at work will be.
