Suffering and pain without remembering.

Robbed of the truth of what happened to me, my Dla stopped when changing to PIP despite my symptoms been the same and a TIA since last assessment. Feeling shame because I haven,t worked for years but managed to struggle at college and go to uni, struggled at uni but graduated. No job still and continued demonizing of me as one of many disabled persons leaves me isolated, unable to function for hours due to chronic pain and PTSD.

I have been denied my health records which should show why I have large scars on my head but I have had amnesia for all my life...I am 56 years old. Some counselling has helped but at present I feel trapped in a body I cannot remember but who presents with flashbacks causing distress and pain and which includes post traumatic amnesia. How can I talk about something I do not remember but causes daily distress, pain and loss of functioning?
