Brain injury with self love and acceptance

To help me love, accept and heal in all sense of the word i brought myself a few gifts to help and to help me reconnect with my spiritual side and how the universe would like me to love, heal and accept myself first before i let a man anywhere near me

Only just seen this. Thank you for sharing these and keep at it - it's lovely that you gave yourself presents. And for all the senses.

You've inspired me - think I am going to try this today. Small gifts and kindness to myself.

Hope today treating you well :-)

Your welcome, im forever buying myself treats in various forms like a posh meal out like the other day in bath or a week long trip to the other side of the uk (6 hour train journey to newcastle in a pent house style room) like i did a few months ago or a day trip to my favourite part of the uk (Dawlish) to help allow the sea air and swans to clear my mind and to take me back to a time when i was a happy child before and after my brain injury or buying a new expensive released phone to make every one in the office envious (but now they are releasing the note 10 :-( i got the note 9)

Sea air and swans - I'm jealous! We have have to seize life where we can. I have only got to the planning stages for trips like this but I will maybe get to it soon. It's odd to plan stuff just for me. I seem to have signed up to a conference next week as my barmy head can't justify doing things just for fun. Haven't quite got the hang of this have I?!

Depends on the confrence topic i recently went to a conference on how the brain responses to love and that was fun, educational things for me are also classed as fun like learning new skills and techniques and remember you can cancel the conference as again i had to do when i was feeling unwell in the first stages

Accessible transport which does float my boat and I hope to see a few people I used to work with. Me too and I'm kidding myself that if I do get there I'll be firing some new neural connections and waking up some old ones. Thanks too for the reminder that I can cancel if the prospect is too much. I kept booking then not being able to attend things, but it's like the joke about praying to God that you win the lottery, and the voice from on high back that you could at least buy a ticket...
