Back from appointment and a wee bit happier. The beast is 28mm with 17coils placed and in a bad place —-brain stem . It’s now pressing on a nerve which is affecting sight ,dizziness and stroke like symptoms. Back in feb/March for an MRI and hope it has shrunk a little . It’s quite amazing when you see all your scans. I’m quite happy walking with my walker just hate the dizziness. This is a rare aneurysm so I’m a Guinea pig for the neurologists in Glasgow . Still here which is the main thing . My new name is Long Shona Silver as I need to wear a patch to keep the unblinking eye closed.
I wish you all a very happy Christmas with better health for 2019.

I feel really humbled after reading your post. That's the spirit. Have a lovely festive season. I dont really celebrate Xmas and especially after this bad year. I am feeding peoples cats and chickens, and start a new part time job in the New Year. Festive greetings to you all from NZ
I’m not much for Xmas now either , too commercial plus my grandchildren are south of England and my husband and I just aren’t well enough to travel by car that far and as for trains —-u.k is far behind the world. We will have a quiet day and watch telly all day lol . I think it’s lovely you are caring for other people’s animals and a new job to look forward to 👏👏 I wish you all the luck in the world.
Thank you Shona. My subdural haematoma was slow growing with a successful operation. I am not 100%, and never will be but i am great on tbe surface. I live alone so have to keep on going. Love to you both
Such a great attitude Shona. I still have many issues but, like you, I'm determined to make the best of this life. And being part of this community of fighters provides constant reassurance & support !
Wishing you comfort and happiness this Christmas m'love. 🙂
Happens all the time unless I’m lying down . Consultant thinks it’s the Aneurysm pressing on the nerve and hopes it reduces in size . Has your dizziness stopped ? 🤗🏴
