hi

my father who is 67 had heart failure, after giving 7 rounds of CPR from hospital doctors managed to restart the heart after around 25 minutes. Since then he was in coma with ventilator support, on day 7 MRI of brain was done and shockingly we got a normal report. MRI was repeated from different hospital on day 14, again the result was same. on the fourth week he started responding to voices by opening eyes. Now its been 6 weeks without any further improvements, he is still on BIPAP support rest everything is good kidney functions, BP etc.

since there is no findings in MRI what could be the reason for continuing in this unconscious state.

can ny1 over here can help me please....?
