Pneumonia linked to SCA

I just read that a famous celebrity died due to Sca linked to pneumonia. The same thing happened to my husband. He had pneumonia suddenly and complained about chest pains. I brought him to Er he recovered but unfortunately he suffered SCA weeks later and now has severe brain damage. The doctors didn’t know why he suffered SCA. But now a lightbulb hit me it was linked to the pneumonia. Anyone had any similar instances with pneumonia?

Sorry if I am being dense here but what is SCA? I feel it should be obvious, but it isn't so I gotta ask... especially as I am currently being treated for pneumonia.

I did a google search for SCA got me electronics and the Scottish Canoe Society... pretty sure its none of those.

He has anoxic brain injury now. Vision speech motor skills have all diminished

Hi I don't knowif that effected me all I know is when I got pneumonia both my lungs collapsed and they had to be re inflated and I now suffer asthma and have a volumatic ventaltor

Yes I believe pneumonia weakened his heart. A cardiologist said that can be so
