Should be, it’s the alcohol that can effect medication if your on any? And reduce ones seizure threshold.
Could be other stimulus light/sound/or information overload/stress are all triggers
Have wondered this myself as I haven't drunk alcohol in 18 years. This caused a bad effect so haven't tried it since.
Has anyone on here given it a go if so does it taste like beer as years ago they tasted sickly sweet.

You sound like you're a member of CAMRA, new blonde beers & Citra hops sacrilege.
So it's not you, lager drinkers now want to destroy 'beer'.
I'm on epilepsy meds and drink, this is advice from Epilepsy Action: "For most people with epilepsy, drinking small or modest amounts of alcohol does not make them more likely to have seizures. But drinking larger amounts of alcohol can cause seizures in people with or without epilepsy. You do need to check the advice on the NHS site for the advice regarding your medication.
Is my drinking modest, it probably is now.
My abstenance is not mainly due to epilepsy. I also have lower stem bi which apparently affects my tolerance to alcohol....so I have been told.
It could be true as the last time I drank after my bi I was the life and sole of the party after one drink. I had to be carried to the hotel and passed out for 2 days. Not an ideal night out....cheap...but not ideal.
Have wondered what the non alcoholic alternatives are like but admit after all these years have got used to not drinking.
I have been stopped when staggering out of a pub and had to convince the p.c. that it was due to my leg and not alcohol.
One blow in the bag later and flash of an early headway card and I was on my way.
