It's been 21 months since my accident but I now have a date to start back at work! Work and been very supportive and the occupational health department have been superb. I now have 6 months to repay that support and get back up to speed. Only time will tell if I'm able to do that but I'll give it my best shot! What's the worse that can happen other than it going horribly wrong!
I hope everyone else is doing ok today?
All the best.

so a lot of concentration. not trying to put a downer on it, your body may do that for you,but you may fatigue will be your enemy, not your willingness to work.
try and fight it and we make mistakes.
use your lunch hour to have a snooze somewhere quiet to try and restart the batteries
You do need to ensure your wish to get up to speed doesn't lead to you putting too much of a demand on yourself. A person has to be very strong to say I'm struggling with this or no I can't to do that.
You seem to think if it doesn't work it's "So what I tried" it's rarely like that and the effect of failure can be devastating. Bare that in mind because pushing yourself to hard is likely to make sucess more difficult.
This may sound negative but caution combined with belief is the best platform to stand on.
I had a difficult return to work, but I was very open with HR on exactly what I needed to support my role as they only offered phased hours of return to work but I needed a lot more support especially some admin help and one to one regular meetings with them monthly. In the end they agreed to do a presentation on my illness to all my Colleagues so they could understand my illness.
