Peripheral Scotoma Vs Peli Lenses? Any advice please? My son is post TBI (4 months) from a terrible car crash, he has a left side scotoma blind spot 15-20 degrees to left of central vision, then he can see further in the peripheral beyond that not as first suspected full left hemeanopia.

His Optometrist has suggested Peli lenses in order to increase his field vision on a DVLA Esterman Test - anyone know about or have experienced this? Any advice welcome about driving etc. We are so very lucky to only have his sight impairment as a long lasting side effect from his life threatening injuries, he is even back to work as Trainee Management Accountant #miracle
