24 hour nursing care

This is my first time on here.

My daughter had a brain heamorage in June last year.She is still in hospital and we have been told she needs 24 hour nursing care. Physically she can’t move and is turned Every few hours when she’s in bed. She can sit for 3 hours in a specially adapted wheelchair. I was wondering if anyone can recommend a nursing home in Newcastle upon Tyne or surrounding areas. As my daughter is only 50 years old we would like somewhere for a younger person.

I'm so sorry to read about your daughter. I do wish you all as much improvement as possible and good luck in the search for a suitable place for care. You're so good in trying to source a 'younger' age group setting for your daughter. Sending you a big hug and good wishes for the future. I'm sorry I'm unable to comment better with advice. Have you tried calling the Headway Helpline? Someone there will be able to point you in the right direction.
