Lance Adams Syndrome..

Hi Everyone,

I've been reading a lot of posts on the site for a while, but haven't yet posted.

My 33 year old partner had a cardiac arrest back in April, with approx. 25 minutes down time. He was in a coma for a couple of weeks and had slowly regained consciousness. He's now at a rehabilitation centre, but has multiple side effects from the hypoxic brain injury including seizures, myclonic jerks (Lance Adams Syndrome), possibly cortical blindness, memory and speech issues.

I'm interested in hearing from anyone who has experience with Lance Adams Syndrome or myclonic jerks, e.g. How you manage it? Whether any exercises help?

Physically, the Syndrome really impacts the rehabilitation, so I'm keen to learn about others experiences to see if there's anything I can help him with.

I do have experience from my own surviving cardiac arrest, anoxic brain injury, and a grand mal seizure, but have no experience with "Lance Adams Syndrome". If you have any questions, I'm happy to answer from my experiences.
