Post concussion - sore eyes?!

Hi everyone, I suffered concussion last December 2016, now have post concussion! Headaches I can deal with, but my eyes feel so sore and achy all the time! Has anyone else had this? Anything you recommend to ease the discomfort?

Have you had your eyes tested recently? Might be worth it if not.

Otherwise maybe some of the optrex eye mist ?

Have had them checked and they are fine. So frustrating, I've got so many eye drops and artificial tear drops but nothing seems to help 🙁 Thanks for your reply xx

Hmmmm. Ok, was that a supermarket opticians or independent one ?

Sounds like eye muscle ache (no idea what the technical term is !!). Do you have glasses? Are you using enough light ? Not changed to varifocals recently?

Have you asked yr gp or neuro consultant?

There might be some eye exercises to help, but probably best to spk to someone in the know.

I have been to specsavers and to eye casualty, had them thoroughly checked. Nothing is ever found and I don't require new specs. I wear glasses for driving but they are a tiny prescription. I have a neurologist appointment next week so will speak to him about my vision problems! Thanks for your reply x

It could be dry eyes your optician should be able to test your eyes for dye eyes ,and,recommend the drops or gel which might help,

Have a read of this, it's really interesting regarding eyes....I also go regularly to the optician to be told my eyes are fine but they are not fine to me!

Sorry for the delayed response. I've been told my eyes no longer work together. I wear prism glasses and work with physio
