I have a few songs that I used to listen to 5 years ago before the stoke...they make me very happy.
Has anyone got anything like that for themselves?

Yer tougher than the rest
'All We Do' / Mr Suicide Sheep.
'All Rise' / Blue. .................and SO many more.
But 'Word Up' / Cameo still has me grinning like a headcase (not PC I know) .........................I swear it has magical healing properties.
Hope all's well(ish) with you Ben. xx
Cameo = codpiece = hilarious ! Do your dance, Cat : )) x
Well not right now m'love as I'm laid low with a really 'honking' cold & cough.
But (cod-piece or not) that track normally has me gyrating and never fails to lift my mood.........whatever the starting point !
I've missed you Angela ; are you ok ? xx
I'm good thanks, Cat. Feeling the fatigue more these days so not online as often as I'd like. Work and basic chores are stealing all my nice shiny 'spoons' !
Thanks for the cough and cold alert - will dust my spacesuit off ! Hope you're feeling better soon, Angela x
hi my friend this radiation plays any type music from any year radionomy.com/en/style/hits...
radionomy.com/en/style/hits it has made me have little thoughts of a song and if am
lucky ill remember something to do with a song .just go on these links hope your ok my friend eddie
Ha ha, I am always singing "You are my sunshine" to my grandchildren . My beautiful granddaughter who has just turned six has been singing it back to me since she was three.
My other favourite is Bobby Mcferrins "Don't worry be happy" . I know work in a residential home and they tease me all the time that I sing bits of songs at any opportunity! It's funny because I would never sing out load to anyone before my brain haemorrhage 😂
I keep many tunes in my mind that remind me of times in my life. 'Tell Laura I love her 'is the first that I remember. Flowers in the rain, for the beautiful days of the 60s. There's also the bad ones of the 70s in Northern Ireland and the 80s when I was beaten up and my life was changed completely . I still listen to my old LPs . Keep listening. Dave
when hubby was home (the first time) and still nuts on streorids! i put simply red on and we danced
Anything ska/reggae. Impossible not to move to a barmy ska tune : )
Kate Bush 'The Red Shoes' on a restless leg night lol : ) x
no sleep no cry! LOL (sorry i had to put that)
LOL
Not music no, I find music/tv let alone films hard work i.e. Overloading for most part.
I guess for myself it has been biking I might of lost my hill walking ability but I can still MTB etc well and safely in remote places.
Yes I made my own playlist of songs that make me feel good and play it whenever I'm feeling down. It's a great positivity booster. Songs from my childhood or teens x
Yes!! I have a library of Pleasant vibe things, music, films, cartoons from teens. Even flavours pick me up..ginger I'm quite obsessive about.
