What's going on

Hey everyone it's been a while since I've been here so apologies .

I was in hospital with a nasty case of Sepsis and eas in hospital for five weeks were i received the best of care I must say .

I was referred onto the neurology team who sent me for an mri too check on the two anyersums I have on my brain and when the results came back if had some kind of ischemic episode they weren't happy with the problem is I've been marked as an urgent referral but have been told that the waiting list is 103 weeks to be seen I was just wondering has anyone else had the same .

I've been thinking about you over the last week and hoping that you were out of hospital and making good progress.

Can you get the appointment hurried up ? 103 weeks seems excessive for an URGENT appointment.

Hi James, that seems a long wait for an urgent referral, I waited six months when my aneurysm was first found and contacted PALS, my appointment came through not long after, worth a try good luck love Alice xx

Hiya Alice Thank you for the reply an I ask what us Pal I am not sure if we have that over here in northern Ireland I've never heard of it . X

I was told if your referral is urgent you should be seen within 4 weeks but that was Salford hospital! X

I've been told it will be 103 weeks there are another 1450 people waiting of which 1250 are marked as urgent .

It' s a disgrace it borders on cim8nalty 8n my eyes ism waiting for numerous appointments another is at a macular cl8nic u was due to be seen last August and have northern tools I won't be seen until some time in 2019 I mean wot is going on that's over a year and a half after my intended appointment .
