blood clots and bleeding on the brain

Can anyone tell me if there is a link between bleeding on the brain and blood clots (in this case in the lungs but not sure if that's relevant)

If you are on medication for the blood clots I would talk to the GP or pharmacist about it.

A blood clot in the lungs is more likely to travel to the brain and cause a stroke. Medical attention and treatment needs to be sought as a matter of urgency to disperse the clot and prevent a stroke occurring.
