It's a dull day here in london but who cares πI'm not going to moan about it as IV be moaning a bit lately π
Be positive : It's a dull day here in london but who... - Headway
Be positive
But you had a nice day in London yesterday- I know because I was there. Dull here in Sussex too.
Have a good day.
My mood is like the weather lolπ ββοΈ
It is a bit dull today isn't it! Have my parents down so burning the candles both ends!
Know what you mean we had family over yesterday ...normally have quiet Sundays. Paying for it this morning ...getting out of bed has never been so hard.... yawn.
At the moment we have sunny / cloudy here in Cambs - think I slept through the sunnier part but going to drag myself off for a bike ride soon anyway. Before the Wings for life Race starts coming through - cos they are bound to run faster than I can bike !!
Have a good day
Chilly but sunny here in the North West. Hello everyone!
Having a little rest before two toddlers land in the morning for a sleepover as their mother is on shifts this week.
Their other grandparents live a couple of hundred miles away... so don't need a lie down in a darkened room as often!
Grandad watching as much footie as he can before they land!
Blimey Nan where abouts are you in NW. It's been glorious here all day in Cheshire ! Cat xx
Hi Cat sorry have been off the forum a few days. Hope you enjoyed the sun!
I'm West Lancs.... it did get a lot warmer later on over here.
I think I might have written this quite early in the morning....ha ha
Funny thing Nan, I recently drove along the A56 to find a sort of demarcation line across the road, where ahead was wet with dark clouds above and behind was dry with blue sky...............quite spooky. I suppose it's inevitable but not something we see often.
One of the loveliest sights I ever saw was on the M62 just coming over the Pennines ; the end of a rainbow splashed across a remote cottage ; I doubt I'll see that again !
It's been really hot here this week (in Sale) ; hope you're getting some sunshine too m'dear. x
Oooh when I could drive I used to love the Pennines bit of the M62,
( apart from the moors bit where I would always get a shiver... a tale for another time!)
I've just remembered that funny little farm house that the motorway split around. ..strange how things come back into your memory sometimes isn't it?
It's been good weather here... have had the tent up in the garden for the little ones.. takes the pressure off a bit being outside. They wanted to play fairies and I convinced them that I was Fairy Sleepalot who needed a snooze for a hundred years (well twenty mins anyway!)
Take care you xx
Ha ha............you sound like a brilliant nan (if a tired one at times !)
Lovely chatting to you m'dear ! xxx
Oh, meant to say. that farmhouse between the carriageways ; that a serious case of 'Digging the heels in' isn't it. But I often think that any time they need to do some shopping they have to get onto the fast lane pretty sharpish as there's no access to a slip road ! ............... xx
Hi everyone, Jules here.
I was watching the tv with my husband before he went to work and it said the (icey) wind would drop to nothing today and although the temperature would be same as yesterday, it would feel warm because of the disappearance of the wind.
Then it said tomorrow would be 'no wind at all and a bit warmer still'.
So i am thinking - great, some good weather as from today....
Mum came down stairs and i said to watch the regional weather as at long last we could spend some time in the garden in the warm as the weather is looking great.
But ..... the weather said cold, windy and possible frost !
I am pretty sure mum thinks its my head injury getting things mixed up - but honest it wasnt and they were pointing to my home town (North East England) on the weather map at the time.
Kindest regards
Jules
PS:
Weather here in Whitley Bay is dull, dark, windy, chilly (with the occassional glimmer of sunshine trying to break through).
