Hi all again just a short one to say last message was 2nd try has lost first one when pressing submit button I was quite frustrated when this happened I am not very IT literate so tried again with a shortened version I wondered If others had same trouble on this site? comanchero

Yes John, frequently. The only way I manage to hold onto messages is by copying & pasting more & more content as I type.
I can be in the middle of typing and whoosh ! it all disappears. Or another time it will all vanish just as I click on the 'submit' button.
So I copy & paste incrementally then do the whole post just before I send. If it's lost I just smile because it's all still waiting to be pasted however many times I might need to try.

As Cat says it happens quite often to me too.
Usually when I'm tired or anxious to reply to someone.
Still we get there in the end so thumbs up to us for sticking with it.

Funny you know as if I have a long reply I always copy the text just in case haven't lost one yet but theres always a first time. Using a iMac which helps too. X
I find typing it in say Microsoft Word program first and then copy and paste it here works well for me.
