I can get this too but it might be my strange sense of humour. I was always a bit strange in what made me laugh but now since my Bi i can laugh at stuff that no one else finds funny. Im sure I'm not alone no doubt your not too. N
Unfortunately due to jokes being reasonably quick fire, it's plainly obvious that I haven't got it, it's one of the things Sa (my wife) says she misses, quite often unless told I just don't get it!
My wife has reminded me that she is just joking and if there is dought assume the best, but I just can make the leap and just look, and am puzzled.
That was the story of my marriage Roger, I seemed to hear sarcasm first, then If I made a comment back, he'd say, "I'm Joking" , possibly it's something to do with tone more than the words themselves?? Perhaps I've been too serious all my life
I am finding that I take most things so seriously now....I seem to think every joke is at my expense and I get quite upset when infact it could be nothing to do with me....it's so frustrating! Some days I can talk myself out of worrying about what folk meant and shake it off, other days I tend to prefer to keep myself to myself for fear of being hurt! Yet I know I am not always the most tactful person in the world anymore which also upsets me! xx
A lot of humour I get but some of the programs that people rave about on TV, I look at stunned. It is the same with some adverts like the Christmas Tesco ones - what are they about and why would I shop at Tesco if they think there customers are like that ? or am I missing something ?
