Well my brain took over last night and threw all of my sleeping abilities out the night time window and I couldn't sleep. Just kept thinking about my scan this morning in Brighton hospital, I have a hard lump on my arse which is inside and very worrying... Im sure it will be fine but I have never experienced this sort of anxiety before, well never before my accident. Must be as Roger says V2 new way of thinking or controlling the thought processes.
I never used to worry about anything and now I do, suppose it could be old age or just my new wired brain. Im a little scared and frightened but I do know what will be will be and I will have to accept it. Ive developed a few twitches too in the last few weeks don't know if this is due to the BI: any one else had this happen? mainly head twitches and like little ticks only really noticed it over the past 7 days and its when I'm tired or fatigued, again must be V2 coming in.

Well good luck with your scan. I completely understand you worrying, I'm forever doing it when I've got important things on, hospital/doctors appointments, bank meetings etc. I've now got it down to only worrying on the day and maybe the day before.
Best wishes hope all goes well and yes can understand your worry. Sounds like it could be a hair follicle where the hair has become ingrown and caused an abcess to develop which may have then become a deeper sinus tract which is why they are scanning to see how big/deep. It is not an uncommon problem.
I do twitch/jerk/shudder now and then, normally when i'm tired though not always quite often as i'm in bed, fully awake not the drifting off ones which are normal.
I find them intencly irritating! occationaly get them driving luckly seems to make no differnce ie doesnt alter my grip etc.
Thanks for your replies people I'm in a humble place. I have been referred for an MRI scan and a biopsy so will know more then, may take a few weeks to get the appointment, ho hum.
Yes funny these little scares and yes I do worry more especially after the accident and your with out a doubt right paso I truly thought I was invincible and now I'm not. Any way onwards and upwards. Ill keep a close eye on my twitching too Roger.
I don't doubt that you were completely fearless pre bi. It's strange te things that a brush with the grim reaper can do.
Good thing is that you are aware of parts of your body other than your brain.
While the tics are connected to fatigue I wouldn't worry. Fatigue is likely the key. Our brains are wonderful things but even they can only do so much your tics are probably your brain's way of dropping a hint that it has had enough.
Can't really add more than sending you twitchy hugs ! Try not to worry about the twitching, I have all kinds of movement but I know that fatigue can sometimes make things worse.
Onwards, upwards, occasionally downwards and sideways, we will get there in the end.
