Hi Matt, welcome, you're already one step ahead of me as you managed to upload a picture, I still can't work out how!

I acquired my brain injury in 2004 in a car accident. It was tough in the early days, challenging in the middle years but now I am surviving and almost managing my time and energy.

I work part time in school assisting children with additional needs, although I'm off work at the moment with infections. Just found out I need a lot more rest than I thought I would. I was hoping to be in work today but I'm still not right.

How did you get your I jury in football?

We all help each other the best we can and the Headway helpline can be really useful too. Do you know if there is a group in your area? Sometimes meeting people in person càn help you make sense of what is happening.

Hi Matt, I have a brain injury too after a car accident nearly 2 years ago. Trust me, things get better! I also hope you are getting the right help. I'm Matt also :).

I thought I was the only one :).

I'll be Matt1 and you Matt2, like bananas in pyjamas

I'll keep my injury short and sweet cos explaining my injury can go on a bit and I get fed up of typing essays :).

I have had/have 2 brain tumours, not at the same time. I have a VP shunt. And I have had 11 operations on my noggin thus far.
