Hi Daren.

I've had had 3 MRI's in France since March 2014., which doesn't help you, since they they are now looking at my liver.

Changes in the liver DO affect the Brain, that much i discovered last week! No don't automatically automatically think alcohol - diet can affect the liver, as can blood disorders and I have one!

I also now just copied and pasted to google search, 'moderate microvascular ischemic changes'

Do the same, and from that you will be able to ask questions of your specialiast or the doctor who does the MRI at the time. Don't rely on your GP knowing the answers either - he is a GENERAL practitioner - not the specialist. Depending on your result from the MRI, you may then be referred o a specialist. Stay cool and calm, till you know if there is a problem or not, no point in worrying! ch

sorry Daren, hit a wrong key and 1st reply sent before I finished. I assume you only just had your MRI, so go see your GP and ask to speak to specialist to discuss result if no one tells you anything now . 1 week after after my MRI I had to have an Endoscopy and there and then Consultant wanted an ECG on heart also. There is a connection between Brain /Liver / problems and I have both! Since I had aneurysm/brain hemorrhage I'm on daily blood thinning power, Kardegic = to Aspirin? here in France and now since ECG am on meds for high blood pressure!

Liver can be diet related, not necessarily alcohol, which so many people think automatically, I've had Cancer and alcohol ruled out. I'm currently at stage of waiting for next test or diagnosis! However I feel in good health physically- its just my Bain Injury efects that get to me, and yes I do have some, physical as well as mental.

Good luck - no news is good news!
