Yep, exhaustion has overwhelmed me. Fighting endless bouts of laryngitis and tonsillitis and it's all become too much where the old lethargy is concerned. Oh, and every other night I don't appear to be able to sleep. Aren't brain injuries fun...
More tired than I ever thought possible: Yep... - Headway
More tired than I ever thought possible
You poor thing Andy. Hope you've got antibiotics & pain-killers to see them off, plenty of co.codamol should help. Maybe you need a vitamin boost to get your immune system in fighting mode.............I'm just guessing really, I'm as hopeless as the next person when it comes to infections.
When I was poorly just before Xmas, I had a little moan on Headway and all the lovely replies were heart-warming..........I felt like I'd been 'wished' better..........hope it works for you too !
Love & best wishes Cat xx
I do hope you get better soon,I've been very stressed and its made me very tired too. I feel generally blhugh!
Here's hoping we both get a restful night and start to feel the benefits soon.
I'm sorry Baron!! Hope things start looking up soon!
Thank you, Smiley, much appreciated
Hi BaronC, sorry to hear you're not well, lets hope some sunshine will come along soon for you and yes it is exhausting feeling unwell all the time - I'm lucky at moment to be one of the better feeling ones, but do understand how you feel right now. Lots of get better wishes coming your way. Shirley x
Hi Andy, I wish you well from center parcs, Whinfell forest, we are having a much needed break, the first one just me and hubby alone in 25 years, so I'm feeling very lucky at the mo.
We're in a lakeside apartment and it's amazing, so quiet and peaceful.
So I'm sending you feelings of calm and well being, catch them as they come your way.
Love Janet xxxxx
Thanks Andy, I have my iPad with me and when I open it it automatically takes me to my emails, that's why it seems like I'm always on this forum
You are welcome though xxxxx
Go on then, I'll let you off, just this once x
I went for months with only a couple of hours sleep a night, it was sheer hell. My doctor persuaded me to take an anti depressant and gabapentin, they did the trick and now I rarely have a sleepless night.
I wont insult you by suggesting you speak to your GP, you've no doubt already done that.
Its funny, colds, coughs, sore throats never used to stop me working or doing much now post-injury anything like that knocks me for a six.
Hope it resolves soon
Me too, I was told I'd be susceptible to any illnesses doing the rounds and they'd hit me for 6, great isn't it, I get paranoid if I'm out and about and I come across anyone coughing or sneezing!
Janet
