Jack and Sophie update ...

After another emotional reflection week, being looking at photo,s from last Christmas, Jack was unable to walk, using a wheelchair, we managed 2 nights at home, back to hospital Boxing Day. Looking back to them hard times, makes us realise how far we have come over the last year. Both children continue to have regular assessments and appointments, which sometimes gets to much and they just want to attend school with their friends. Sophie today is doing her bike safety test at school and she tries so hard with her work and always does her best, what more can you ask for. Tomorrow is the last day of term, and Jack is playing the keyboard in a special assemble, deck the halls which he has learned off by heart, also picked his clarinet up again, and doing really well. I think tomorrow is going to pull at the heart strings (what's new).

Oh goodness, I struggle to hold it together when it comes to kids doing Xmas plays, concerts etc....in your shoes I think I would be a sobbing wreck! I am sure it is really difficult for you all at times but am so glad you are able to see that progress has been made over the past year.... I hope you all have a lovely time, best wishes to you and your family xx
