Encephalitis is a curse

I thought it couldn't get any worse

Now I've had a Mini Stroke

Let me tell you it's no joke

Not only for me

But for my partner Jan

She helps me every way she can

Looking after me when I'm worried

Making sure that I'm not hurried

She makes sure I'm clean and tidy

Jan does my laundry

Then she irons my clothes

Barely stopping to wipe her nose

I love my Jan with all my heart

But where does a thank you start
