Hi everyone,

If you have undertaken a Work Capability Assessment (WCA) as part of your application for Employment and Support Allowance (ESA), and would like to share your experiences with the independent review, the deadline for contributions is next Tuesday (27th August).

Headway will be submitting a response that takes account of all the experiences and feedback we have received.

To make sure the views of people with brain injury are taken into account, we are encouraging our members to do the same.

You can find out more about the consultation at gov.uk/government/consultat...

This includes a link to the online form at survey.dwp.gov.uk//index.ph...

If you have any thoughts on the Work Capability Assessment process that you'd like to share here, please do so in the comments below. We may want to include extracts from comments, with personal details removed, in our own response, so please indicate if you would be happy for us to do this.

Thank you for your support,

Best wishes,

Headway
