Hi joreunhaz,

Thank you for your question. We hear this question quite a lot, but the best guidance is to call the surgical team at the hospital to ask. Were you given a contact number when your son was discharged?

The situation is slightly different for everyone, so it's best to get advice from a medical professional who is involved in the treatment.

I hope this helps,

Best wishes,

Headway.
