Yes, dillm, I agree, and I think it's because, for the professionals, it is their career and they don't actually identify with us.

Here, we respond to one another because we feel protectiveness to others with similar problems to our own, which grows with time and familiarity.

And, yes, it is therapeutic knowing that there are always people to turn to, 24/7. We are a great bunch who discuss very varied issues and, occasionally, share some welcome humour.
