Possible treatment option :)

Hey there, just wanted to post because I found something that really helped me and thought it might help someone else. So I have a HH breakout that's been bothering me for over a month now, it passed the wound "weeping" stage but just would NOT heal no matter what I tried. I was getting super miserable and depressed because it's under my arms, on both sides on my neck and where my arm bends so it hurt pretty much every time I moved.

I tried Protopic tacrolimus ointment (dermatologist prescribed), Hydrocortisone cream, I even tried petroleum jelly and vaseline deep moisture lotion - because nothing worked and I was getting kinda desperate. A friend suggested I try Eucerin for Compromised skin and it's working wonders, I've only been using it for two days now and my HH areas have gone from painful and bright red to light pink and healing. I'd also like to note that it barely hurts to put on, a lot of the stuff I tried (including the protopic cream) hurt SO much to put on that it it wasn't worth the pain.

Anyway, I am so, so happy because I was starting to wonder if my HH was ever going to heal and I was so tired of being in pain all the time. I almost cried when I realized it was finally healing, you should definitely try it too - just be sure it's the one for compromised skin and not the regular kind. I got mine for $11 at CVS, I think it's also sold at Walmart and Meijer. I've been putting it on 3 or 4 times a day, whenever it looks dried out or starts hurting again.

I'm new and I don't know if I can upload two pictures or not, but here's a picture of my HH after two days of using this. It still isn't pretty, but it was so much worse a few days ago and most importantly it doesn't hurt anymore.

Thank you for this info. I'll try to buy some. I've also found through a very supportive FB group that Mitchum deodorant gel stops blisters appearing under my arms! It seems really effective for many suffers.

Hi, Thank you for sharing this as your story sounds the same as what I am going through. It's so painful and the creams I have work very slowly. Clearing after a couple of days you say. I definitely have to try it ! Thanks again, Neil
