As far as I'm aware, the answer is: it depends. As with most medication, there is a chance of gluten being used as a bulking agent, so it's a question of reading the label fine-print. Be aware that gluten often doesn't appear listed as 'gluten', but hides in many different guises. Look for products clearly labelled 'gluten-free' and/or check with the manufacturer to be totally sure.
