The official line is that all toothpastes in the UK are gluten free. However, toothpastes often contain strong flavourings and other ingredients that can irritate the mouth i.e. recently I used Aquafresh after using a natural Bicarb of soda toothpaste for ages. Suddenly I had a few tiny ulcers on my tongue from using the Aquafresh which had a much stronger minty flavour than my normal brand. That doesn't mean I was 'glutened' it simply means that toothpaste didn't agree with me.
