Beginning to feel better....

It looks like I have my gluten sensitivity, IBS and food allergies pretty much under control at long last. It's been almost a year now. As I begin to feel better, I've been able to go back to my baking and posting on my web site. If anyone is interested, I have posted 4 new recipes this month already and have more to come. You can find them at foodchallenges.ca

My chronic pain diagnosis has made me eligable to attend a six week course starting Oct 3rd. I'm very excited about this wonderful opportunity!

After a long time struggling, things finally seem to be improving.

Thanks, Lynxcat! A long way to go yet, but the joureny has begun! I'm excited about the possibilities. The doctors have said I can eat what I want, with just a few exceptions... that has made life so much easier. I'm truly grateful.

Hi Liana,

Thanks for the link to your site. Just had a peek and want to try some of the recipes but I have no idea how much is in a (American?) cup!? Do you know what that is in ounces/gramms?

If you could let me know that would be fab!

Thank you!

I use British Imperial measure because I'm a Canadian....1 cup is 8 fluid ounces. If I need to convert to grams, I use a small weigh scale.

Hi BerkshireBird ... good news!... I'm a Canadian, so the measurements are in British Imperial. I have had several requests to include metric measure in my recipes, so in the future, when I post a new one, I'll make the effort to convert and include them. In the meantime, I will ask my web master (son, Peter, who's at University doing a degree in computer engineering) to see if he can find and easy to use conversion chart to put on the site for the older recipes. I hope that will be helpful! Best regards ...Liana
