Good news for some, but I can't risk getting the side effects that Kellog invented his cereals for.

I'll stick to my oats. Gluten free and overpriced as ususal, but at £3.00 a pop I can get 8-10 breakfasts out of a bag.

I bet the gluten free rice krispies are expensive anyway.

Just to cheer you up Phil, Oats were part of Dr J H Kellogs austerity dietary regime. The fact that Kellogs was an adventist is irrelevant today and the cereals are malted and sweetened so are not as bland as intended.

Another interesting character from the same period is Jethro Kloss he wrote back to eden and was a pioneer with soya and corn. He used to double bake corn to bring out the dextrose in it. He also used to say that 'modern' processed foods would result in hospitals being full of people who were ill because of their poor diets. He thought raising agents like baking powder were the work of the devil because baking powder is also epsom salts (a laxative) He also quoted Ezekiel 4:9 an old testament prophet and today you can buy sprouted bean bread called Ezekiel 4:9 bread (its not gluten free)

Kellogs making gf rice krispies is the first step so whatever our personal breakfast choices are the more choices the better. So you enjoy your oats I'll enjoy my tea and toast and some coeliac can now enjoy gf rice krispies.
