I’ve discovered that Synthroid (brand) levothyroxine has trace amounts of gluten (informed through research). Makes me Ill every time. The only brand that I know for certain that doesn’t is made by Mylan.

Hi, Do you know where Mylan manufacture their Levothyroxene? Just googled them and found they were warned for cleaning violations in India.

I definitely would get the Rx but don’t take a pill from the name brand “Synthroid”. It has gluten.

I’ve been successful with Mylan brand and Eutyrox

My Medicare primary tried to talk me into accepting a prescription for levothyroxine. I turned her down. Glad to know I made the right choice, but then I have tried Synthroid, Armours, T3 and T4 in the past with disastrous repercussions, so know better than to rely on pharma for anything..
