Having found a breakfast of home made muesli to result in being safe to leave the house a couple of hours later, I wonder if other coeliacs might find the same... muesli ingredients include GF oats, dem sugar, raisins, sultanas, flaked almonds and chopped dates, and seeds and chopped nuts if you don't have dentures! On a couple of occasions when something's come up to necessitate leaving earlier I've needed to find a loo pretty quick, but generally this works well for me and might be worth trying...?

It's wonderful that you have found a breakfast that works for you. The ingredients you listed are very nutritious. But, I know for many of us, GF oats are not something that is well tolerated. Also, nuts can be a source of cross contamination, so always get them from a reputable GF source. Otherwise, it sounds delicious. We are all so different when it comes to tolerance levels. It can be quite the challenge to find quick, on- the- go healthy breakfasts. It's a huge relief when you can finally nail down a few options, isn't it? 😊
I concur with the nut cross-contamination. Every time I have been glutened in the past year, it has involved nuts. Contacted the shops (Co-op, Tesco, National Trust) and all argued the toss that the suppliers state the nuts are gluten free. They genuinely are the worst culprit in my experience. If you know of any 'safe' brands, please post.
