I have an appointment with Professor Marios Hadjivassiliou at Sheffield hospital.
I really don’t know what to expect, what test dose he do ?
In the past I had slurred speech and unsteady gait. I don’t have any of these symptoms now.
I do have celiac disease and I am very depressed and anxiety is really troublesome, I really do worry about my health I am probably my own worst enemy.
Thanks

Hi This is who I will be seeing, he is supposed to be good. I get a lot of anxiety and feel depressed at times and always thinking about my health and hoping for a definite diagnosis. I am thinking he might do blood tests, neurological tests for ataxia, I have seen these tests on video online before, genetic tests, muscle biopsy maybe, not sure about scans but maybe.
I’m hoping for a answer I herd that he is a very knowledgable doctor/professor the anxiety and stress of it all is really intense it’s like the first thing I think about and the last thing at night I think about. It may be nothing but then again if I knew something I think I’d be a lot better off.
Hi, waiting time is about two months. I waited longer because mine was cancelled. Plenty of dates on choose and book but they are not all to see professor Hadjivassiliou.
