I can't seem to loose weight since I'd been diagnosed with celiac disease. Havd always had issues with gaining weight but cannot seem to shift it .I am gluten free. Am frustrated with it any help please.

I was diagnosed with celiac 9 years ago and went all out and bought loads of gluten free stuff that I could lay my hands on

9 years ago there wasn’t a lot about & what there was tasted disgusting 🤢

But I think now there is so much BUT there’s so much sugar & fat in them so they taste better so it seems that everyone seems to put weight on ,

I just stick to naturally gluten free foods ie fruit , veg

That’s how I keep the Weight off

Hi Hammykins, I agree with essexgirl that gf foods are often loaded with sugar and fat. If you load your diet with fruit and veg you will lose weight. We all struggle especially as you get older and move less. Good luck and all the best. Diane

Did you have unexpected weight loss before you were diagnosed?

What are you vitamin levels like? as if low, they can also make it difficult to lose weight.
