If I’m taking four tablets a day and I’ve been taking them for years with maize starch in does that mean that I’m ok with maize and corn? Eating it full size a bowl full or a plate full or eat a product with it in without getting glutened? In the early days of having to go gluten free I got glutened the food had maize or corn in it and I’ve been scared to eat it since thinking that’s what it must have been but found out this week that I’ve been having maize starch daily in my tablets for years or wouldn’t it count because it’s a small amount?

Maize starch
For a start Maize or corn is safe for coeliacs I suggest you see your gp because it’s not Coeliac or gluten intollerance.
Are you aware that each of us has different triggers? Maize is GF but not everyone can tolerate maize as GF is not an apt description of their intolerances.
A pill filler of maize may be too small an amount to cause discomfort. I was on maize filled pills which caused gas. Found an alternative pill with chalk as filler. No gas.
By elimination, you can work out which are your triggers. Try not to use GF for your intolerances. Each hearer has their own interpretation of GF and GF may not describe your diet.
Many people hurtle maize into a low earth orbit.
FFNick has a point about everyone having different intolerances so gluten might not be your only issue.
Starch production generally removes gluten as I understand it and we often see wheat starch in gluten-free products. Maize isn't a gluten containing grain so its starch should be fine unless it has been contaminated by gluten containing grains. If you're having bowls of corn flakes then there is a potential issue from contamination so looking for 'gluten-free' maize is the safest approach and I know Nestle produce gluten free cornflakes. Most coeliacs rely on maize, rice and potato as their key sources of carbs so not having maize would narrow your nutrition markedly. As you say the small potential amount in a tablet (assuming the worst case) will be proportionally tiny, particularly if you have it with a meal.
I’ve read a few places that corn and maize as it’s own type of gluten
