I've not been on here for a few weeks.the last time I wrote about waiting for a lactose intolerant test etc...finally I had one today n it went fine.until I went home when my sugars were horrendous and I had diarrhea - must be because of the fluid they gave me before the test.i was told what I dreaded - I'm lactose intolerant 😢

One good thing about being lactose intolerant is that it is easily managesd with enzyme supplements and there are lots of dairy alternatives out there these days too, so although it is a shock at first, at least you now know what is causing some of your issues & you can gain back some control over your health, good luck.

Lactose intolerant = Normal. Being described as lactose intolerant means that you are a normal post-weaned human being (or in fact any post-weaned mammal). Most of the world's human population does not consume milk past weaning and no other mammal does not choose to drink milk. In the western world there is high consumption of cow milk past weaning, which if you think about it is rather strange and certainly. There has been huge amounts of advertising and promotion of cow milk for humans by the companies who profit from it. Cow milk causes both immediate (diarrhea, gut pain etc) and longer term health implications to humans who continue to consume cow (and any animal milks) for example, arthritis which is totally preventable by not consuming cow milk, breast cancer ditto, IBS, eczema, asthma and list goes on.

Two thirds (majority) of the worlds human population is known NOT to be able to tolerate cow milk products past the age of weaning. If given to many nonhuman mammals, cow milk causes diarrhea in most of them and can kill them. All the things you used to enjoy in the past are also made up from plant milks as they have been for hundreds of years. Almonds were always taken on long journeys so as to make up milk as necessary - it is not a new fashion. But the meat and dairy industry is strong and powerful and does not want us to know the truth.

Now we can get fantastic plant cheeses made by Bute Island and sold in major supermarkets. We can get a whole array of plant milks (we prefer hemp or almond but most are good). Rice cream or Swedish Glace is available in many places - if not ask for it, they should get it in.

Good luck with your health and enjoy the fact that you are normal and that your body has told you early on NOT TO CONSUME DAIRY before other killer diseases set in.
