so sorry you got caught! guess we all slip now and then, but its so awful when we do. I slipped this year with, of all things, a salad at Sainsbury's. with as you found the resultant few days of reaction. made me return to basic foods again. Also when one sees the Allergy site of recalled foods we really are in a precarious place,

Bad luck Corsa. It is so easy to make that mistake, it's a hard lesson to learn. Hope you are feeling better now.

HI penel, Just cannot believe a little bit of choc upset me for three days.

Poor you Corsa!

I have been looking for gluten free dark chocolate for years, can never find any without a warning. Can Anyone recommend one?

Kinnertons "Just Chocolate":-) I get it from Morrisons in their Free From aisle. It's free from dairy, egg, gluten and nuts. It does have soya lecithin in it though, I thought I'd better mention that in case anyone is sensitive to it.

It's supposed to be "ideal for cakes & desserts" but I'd say it's ideal for just eating! Well it was until I had to give it up because of migraines . . . . .

Oh no! Poor you. I can't tolerate any chocolate but always looking for my son. Unfortunately he is intolerant to soya.

Thanks anyway.

I feel more sorry for your son, it's hard to miss out on treats!

in reply togfmum1

Oh he doesn't miss out, I bake for him and always carry things with me. At primary he had a treat stash so that he didn't miss out when a child brought in a birthday cake.

Possibly Booja-Booja or Plamil?

in reply toPenel

Thank you Penel! Will check out the Plamil. The booja booja is out of my price range.
