Yes, that's what I use. A quick spray under your tongue every day is all you need and it tastes good.

My Pilates teacher who is also a physiotherapist says 'forget calcium ladies ( we are all ladies and mostly in our later years) what you need for strong bones is vitamin D and vitamin K. Suits me as I don't drink milk or like yoghurt.

You may also wish to take a look at the above website - lots more suggestions for osteoporosis regarding supplements/lifestyle :-)

If you live in a soft water area you are not only more likely to suffer from osteoporosis (if you are susceptible, like coeliacs) but also be more at risk of cardiovascular disease (lots of evidence for heart attacks being less about chip butties and more about the water supply in places like Yorkshire).

So don't abandon the calcium as someone suggested.

My vitamin D was very low after years of undiagnosed CD and a parathyroid adenoma - resulting in osteoporosis and kidney stones. My GP put me on a very high weekly dose of vitamin D (20,000 units + 1000 units daily) and after 18 months I still hadn't managed to creep up to normal limits. 4 weeks of 3000units of the BetterYou spray and it had shot up. Same effect with the B12 spray. Obviously CD means you're not absorbing the vitamin in your gut - but the spray is absorbed in your mouth.

I'm a total convert!
