Hi toekneee, I agree with the others so good for you for being positive about your diagnosis and your'e in good company on here...
So have a great gluten free 2016 and don't look back,
Jerry
Thank you toeknee. Wish you a very happy and prosperous 2016!
It is good news to know you have the test come back positive. At least now you know which way to turn.
I had stopped eating gluten, however I was not going to throw away all the different foods I had baked.
I do not throw food away. I have decided to enjoy my banana bread (cake). I am now sitting here feeling uncomfortable and bloated.
I shall now consider throwing it away and what I have left in my freezer, as then the temptation will not be there to eat. Has anyone else noted so quickly a problem with bloating and pains in joints after eating gluten even if you have not been for any tests.
I have come off all wheat/oats/rye/barley for health reasons. So now I have to look at what flours I can bake with. I love cooking and baking, and of course then sharing it with friends, who enjoy eating my baking.
Good on you - you're going to manage the disease rather than the disease managing you. You may have some tricky times ahead - we all do - but a determination to make the best of it will take you along way.
That's great toeknee not that your celiac but that you have your diagnosis and can move on and in such a positive way.I had my biopsy on Christmas eve but haven't had my results yet.
