Today we'll be attempting Gluten Free Yorkshire Puddings.....................

Makes 10-12 Yorkshire Puddings:

10-12 tablespoons olive oil

135g GF Flour Mix (or mix your own favourite flours together)

*some people recommend using flour with or adding some Xanthum gum to help them be fluffy and rise

140g cornflour

4 medium eggs

300ml semi-skimmed milk

salt & black pepper

How..

Oven 220 degrees (gas mark 7)

add olive oil to your Yorkshire pudding trays

place tray on a baking sheet

place both in oven to heat up for 10mins

add the flour and cornflour info a deep mixing bowl so it's easy to mix

add the eggs

add the milk

whisk until all are blended well

add a pinch of ground salt n pepper

pour into the oiled moulds or tins so they are just over half full (as they'll rise a lot)

add to oven

cook for 20/25mins until risen/ cooked

serve ASAP!

We'll post up our pics...

ADDITION:

Here they are! They taste nice (a bit cakey!) yet look odd. Nice texture. We'll try again to perfect them. We got lazy and used Dove's Farm Self Raising flour and cornflour.

wow - looks yummy - thanks :-)

Looks great! I don't put oil in my puds - I think that is what probably made them cakey?
