In 2013 I was diagnosed with uvietitis from my eye doctor because of the floaties and pain. He then recommended me to see the lab for sarcoidosis because my grandmother has had it for 10yrs and my aunt was diagnosed with it 3 months before I was. And now I have it and thats where my uvietitis has come to play. My chest had swollen lyphnodes however, they tested me for lymphoma and and that test was negative. A couple of months ago, my chest xray was normal so its crazy but my long function has decreased.. I think that its my nerves as well because of this disease knowing that Bernie mac has died from this.. Also Tisha cambell and mona scott has it. I think it has alot to do with our diets daily as well. But my uvietitis decent seem to want to go away. I was on durezol for a month then about 2weeks later it came back. I was then put on it for 2 more months. After that I was placed on it for another 2 months and now I'm on a floura something for life maybe if it doesn't straighten out.. Ugh.. But I'm ok for the most part just started developing heart palps but was thoroughly tested for that and my heart has no sarcoid but I have been having palps now since november.. Sucks!! !!I

A year after I went gluten free I began to react to other foods such as legumes and white potatoes. I also began to react to silica (also called silicon dioxide) in my medication for bipolar disorder. I was reacting as if I'd eaten a large amount of wheat (bad news!.. nearly ended up in hospital with bipolar symptoms.) Try checking for this ingredient - it may be in medications or vitamin supplements. Good luck!

Hi Ronibu
You sound as though you are having a tough time, I hope you are getting all the medical support you need.
I have recurrent uveitis, going through a flare up at the moment. It usually lasts a few weeks, so you have my sympathy if you have had this for a year. It's a real worry never knowing how long it will last, hope it clears up soon. My recurrent uveitis may be due to operations on my eye, I had the retina reattached a few years ago.
Have you tried cutting out gluten from your diet? Problems with gluten seems to be associated with several autoimmune disorders.
Good luck, hope you can get your problems sorted out.
