I've found a fabulous restaurant!!!! Loxley's Resaurant and Wine Bar in Stratford-upon-Avon.

The gluten free menu is more than just steak or jacket potato, I had hens eggs with ham n pea purée to start followed by fish of the day( haddock today) they have gluten free bread too. I was only diagnosed at the beginning of this year and have really struggled. I recently read an old newspaper article stating that even vending machine coffee can contain gluten

It's really nice when you find somewhere to eat that doesn't poison you! Thanks for letting us know. I haven't been out to eat in over a year, but Wednesday saw us at the 02 for the Eagles concert (which was very good but made me feel sooooooooooooooooooo old). We went to Gourmet Burger Kitchen as the queue was slightly less daunting then Zizzi's and it was good!!! I had their chili chicken salad, and the lovely girl behind the till, when she heard I was coeliac ensured everything was kept gluten free (because she was too), including the cashews that were with it because the same dish on the 'normal' menu the nuts were tossed in flour. It's 2 days now and no sign of the usual problems. It made me feel 'normal' again.

The same goes for Sally and I'm glad you enjoyed the Eagles I thought they had disbanded, I remember in the mid 70's me and my friends were listening to the Eagles 'one of these nights' and the punks burst on the scene with their ultra fast rock n' roll and boy was that energetic/frenetic!
