I flew for first time with stable GBM this year. It was only short haul but definitely more acute/ longer lasting head pressure than when I used to fly frequently (including long haul) for work prior to diagnosis.

I found goodtogoinsurance really easy to deal with. Though the price depends on destination so long haul might inflate.

I definitely found mental benefits of travel outweighed the investment and hope it's same for you!

Safe travels!

Ed

Goodtogoinsurance seem to currently have 10% off sale.

my husband was diagnosed with glioblastoma in December 21. We have flown long haul twice (8.5 hours)

He was absolutely fine and the holiday was a really positive experience.

I couldn’t find any insurer willing to take the risk.

Hope you can take the trip.

Hi there I have a GBM and have it for 10 year at least I had most of it out about 6 years and could not fly for 2 years after the op but now I fly between 6 and 10 times a year to go on holiday and I have had no problems at all. I am off to Barbados’s for Christmas this year for example

So follow your Senior medical persons advice and enjoy the flight and have a great time

Kind regards

Chris
