Fixapost eye drops

Hi everyone, I've been to chemist today for repeat prescription of Fixapost and I was told there is a shortage and they can't get hold of any,has anyone else had this problem?

It may be a problem with the supplier, rather than a production problem. I will contact the manufacturer and will update once I have a reply.

Hi. We have had confirmation from Thea are having supply issues with Fixapost, but this should be resolved around mid-April. You could speak to your GP about getting latanoprost and timolol prescribed separately in the meantime until stock levels return to normal.

I’ve only just been prescribed this (well, generic equivalent) and they didn’t have any in the hospital pharmacy. I tried three local chemists and finally got some Vizilatan Duo drops ordered via Boots. These are apparently the same formula as Fixaprost but in a bottle rather than individual vials.
