Anyone been here who has narrow angles and needed cataract and istent surgery. Mr massood is on you tube looks very good.

Hi Bess, although I have open angle normal pressure glaucoma I have recently transfered to the Birmingham and Midland Eye Centre for my latest surgery. Mr Sung is excellent and has undertaken three surgeries for me - 2 trabs and 1 trab revision with graft. I have found B & M Eye Centre to be efficient, professional and highly proficient - particularly when compared to glaucoma departments in other trusts. Good luck, I understand how important it is to find a consultant you have confidence in 😊

With no intention to name and shame here my ongoing glaucoma journey is complex and required a level of expertise I found at a B & M. Originally I was being seen at Cannock but found their service and the progression of my condition under their management unacceptable for my needs.

I moved to Stafford but subsequently transfered to B & M under Mr Sung, due to his specialisms in complex glaucoma and cataract surgeries.

Uptick for Mr Sung, an excellent consultant, I have also seen Mr Massood a number of times who is also good. I think B&M are excellent for surgeries and outpatient appointments, however I have had numerous bad experiences in their A&E department.

Going see Mr Massood private consultation next week, see what he recommends and if I can be seen on nhs.

Pleased to say I have not had to use their A & E, but echo your comments that their Eye Centre for surgeries and outpatients have been excellent and highly efficient 👏
