I've been diagnosed with PDS and don't know anyone else with the condition. My vision is borderline for me to continue driving and I started Monopost eye drops two days ago. I'm having problems with dizziness, nausea, palpitations and headaches. Wondering if this calms down after taking eye drops for a while.
Thanks in advance.

hi you are not the only one on here with pigment dispersal syndrome I have the same condition. I was a pick up having high eye pressure at 40 year old. And am sure when I started on the eye drops I did have a couple of times when I felt dizzy, didn’t last long hope you find this site helpful
Hi there. It would depend on if these symptoms are caused by the high eye pressure. As you continue to take the drops the pressure should lower to something within a normal range. Hopefully this will cause the symptoms to ease off slightly. If the symptoms continue, I would suggest calling the eye secretary, as it could be a sign of the drops not working effectively.
I’m interested in this as when I asked the glaucoma practitioner about having SLT, she said I was not suitable for this due to ‘pigment in the cornea’. I’ve had high IOP for nearly 30 years and no one has ever mentioned this before. I was started on Monoprost for glaucoma in 2022. I’m prone to bad reactions to medications, but I have to say, apart from blurred vision in the first few weeks, and some change in eye colour, I’ve thankfully had no problems with side effects. I do always apply pressure to the puncta for at least 2 minutes each eye. It’s a bit of a drag, but worth it.
