Concerned about next appointment

Hi everyone. I was diagnosed at the very early stage 2 years ago. I have seen just the nursing team for the last year or so for the usual checks. However on my last appointment last week, by iop range was where it should be and fine but I got a letter 3 days later for the consultant wanting to see me in 4 weeks. Panic isn't the word and I don't get why I would be back with a consultant.

Has anyone else experienced this

Now its been pushed back to the 14th of August. I know they have had a new computer system in place also which maybe mucking things up but its a peculiar timeframe from my last one.

Hi there. It could just be routine and it is not necessarily anything to worry about. Perhaps they have picked something up from your appointment with the nurses and they just want to talk to you about it. They might also wish to do some further tests and re-evaluate your eye drops, or something like that. It's a good thing that they have arranged an appointment so soon, as it's better to get it checked out sooner rather than later.
