Hi - I am using Monopost for high IOP. I have narrow angles but no Glaucoma. I used to use Piriton for hayfever but have read that it is not good to take hayfever medication when you have narrow angles. Has anyone else been told this and if so is there anything else you can take for hayfever symptoms ?

Monopost and hayfever medication
If you have received successful iridotomies in both eyes as a preventative or have had cataract surgery, it may be ok to use, but check with your consultant.
I'm not aware of any other over the counter medication available.
Try drinking Nettle tea -definitely good for Hay fever- used it last year its good & natural - try Googleing Nettle Tea for hayfever -I rarely if ever used meds last year. Worth a look at.
Ah that’s interesting, I’ve just cut down a load of nettles ! I will check it out thanks. I have another appt soon so I’ll ask if there’s anything else and pass it on.
I dry my own nettle leaves to make tea as I am a forager anyway but you can buy nettle tea bags - def worth a try and does no harm -lots of other benefits -I have recommended to others with great success- worth trying .Good luck.
Hope it helps -natural things are great-give it a chance, Best wishes.
